About Us
Hilary
Hilary is a LPC with 18 years experience treating adults and children with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Hilary grew up in a small town bordering the Ohio River in West Virginia. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Fairmont State University and her master’s degree in professional counseling from Carlow University. Hilary has been an invited speaker at universities, hospitals, and national conferences sharing her knowledge and experience in OCD treatment. She has published articles in both the Western Pennsylvania and International Obsessive Compulsive Foundation newsletters. Hilary has learned that growing a successful practice means staying close to her roots, knowing that family and friends are always nearby. She knows first hand the importance of having a strong support network - because they’re the ones who have helped her build a lemonade stand whenever she was handed a bunch of lemons. Golf has been a catalyst for Hilary’s journey as a therapist. The perseverance, precision, and integrity she developed while learning the game from her grandmother are the same skills and passion she brings to her practice.
Finley
Finley is a 5 year old Goldendoodle who has had extensive training. She passed both her Good Samaritan and Therapy Dog exam. Finley has been apart of Greater Pittsburgh Behavioral Therapy, since she joined Hilary's family in 2016. Finley has been a welcome sight for both patients and staff at the Critemore Building. She enjoys Exposure walks through Sewickley as well as sitting in her chair in the office. Fin is no stranger to anxiety and will often be seen comforting weary eyes in the office.
